To help us bring our vision to life, we are looking for a highly organized and bilingual Local Event Coordinator in Thailand to support our team retreat and strategy meetings in October 2026.

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting a Local Event Coordinator (Project-Based) to help organize and execute our upcoming October 2026 team retreat and strategy meetings in Bangkok, Thailand.

You will work closely with AAA’s international team to coordinate all logistics including accommodations, flights, meeting venues, group meals, and local transportation. This is a temporary freelance role, with a flat one-time project fee and flexible working arrangements.

Your Role

Your responsibilities will include:

● Meeting with AAA’s remote team, including the Core Team and Country Directors to understand event needs and preferences.

● Sourcing and securing suitable accommodation and meeting venues for the team within the allocated budget and aligned with AAA’s accessibility checklist and policies.

● Coordinating 100 % plant-based meal arrangements, ensuring any dietary requirements are accommodated.

● Organizing local transport, including airport pickups, transfers between venues, and any site visits.

● Ensuring all logistics are clearly communicated and documented.

● Staying responsive and proactive in handling changes or on-the-ground issues.

Skills and Experience

We welcome applications from people with diverse experiences and backgrounds. The following are preferred:

● Proven experience in event coordination or logistics in Bangkok, Thailand.

Bilingual fluency in Thai and English (spoken and written).

● Strong organizational and communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

● Local knowledge of vendors, transportation, hospitality, venues, and other important locations and services, such as emergency services.

● Experience working with international or remote teams is a plus.

● Commitment to AAA’s mission and values is appreciated.

Terms of Engagement

Type: Freelance / Project-Based

Location: Based in Bangkok, Thailand (remote with on-the-ground tasks)

Start Date: Immediate

End Date: 12 October 2026

Project Fee: USD 1,000 (flat one-time payment)
